Restricted exploration of materials to discover new process’ and ways of thinking. I restricted myself to start with only two materials, pressed flowers and ink, to visually explore the complexity of the human mind. After 15 experiments I disrupted the process by adding magazine photo collage into my experiments. The addition of photo collage allowed exploration of more complex ideas and added visual interest. Next, gold leaf paint was added to the mix of materials. Themes of memories, complex thoughts, change, and adaptability emerged in these experiments.
All 45 experiments were used to create a publication. The publication highlights the date, time length, and short thoughts about each experiment and includes a synopsis after each round.
